How to Request Data Deletion
If you want to delete your data from HiT CRM, you can request it through any of the following methods:
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name
- Your phone number (used on WhatsApp) and/or Instagram username
- Your Facebook account email (if connected via Facebook Login)
- A brief description of what data you want deleted
Option 2: WhatsApp Message
Send a WhatsApp message to our business number with the text "DELETE MY DATA". Our team will process your request.
Option 3: Instagram Direct Message
Send an Instagram Direct Message to our official business account with the text "DELETE MY DATA". Our team will confirm and process your request.
What We Delete
Upon receiving your request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:
WhatsApp Data
- Your contact information (name, phone number)
- All WhatsApp conversation history and messages
- Any media files shared via WhatsApp
Instagram Data
- Your Instagram profile information (username, IG User ID)
- All Instagram Direct Message conversation history
- Comment interaction records
- Any media shared via Instagram DMs
- Content publishing history and scheduling data
Facebook Login Data
- OAuth access tokens and authentication records
- Facebook User ID and associated profile data
- Facebook Page connection records
- Connected account configurations
CRM Data
- Any lead or business records associated with you
- Contact and person records
- Activity logs and interaction history
Disconnecting Your Accounts
If you want to disconnect your accounts without full data deletion:
- Instagram: You can disconnect your Instagram Business account from HiT CRM through our Channels settings page. This will immediately invalidate the access token and stop all API interactions.
- Facebook Login: You can revoke HiT CRM's access by going to your Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites → Remove HiT CRM.
- Instagram App Access: Go to Instagram Settings → Website Permissions → Apps and Websites → Remove HiT CRM.
Processing Time
Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation via your preferred channel (email, WhatsApp, or Instagram) once the deletion is complete.
Important Notes
- Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once completed, we cannot recover your information.
- Content already published to Instagram (posts, stories) will remain on Instagram and must be deleted directly from the Instagram app. We only delete our internal records of the publishing action.
- We may retain anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you personally.
- If legally required, certain records may be retained in compliance with applicable laws.
